Day 7: Whites that WOW!
White is a very elegant choice no matter what the season. It was look very formal but it can go the other way as well….. Very casual and inviting. Today we are doing a mix of both formal and inviting.
For the bridal bouquet, a cluster of tulips is surrounded by mini calla lilies and finished with a thick band of hydrangea. This style is a more casual style but the handle of the bouquet makes it more formal. The stems are completely covered by satin ribbon then banded by an ivory cotton ribbon where a large rhinestone brooch is attached. This is a great way to incorporate “something old”! How about a family heirloom?
For the centerpieces, two various heights are used to bring the eye up and down through the reception space. First a tall Manzanita tree is accented with tall bells of Ireland and finished with a lush arrangement of kale, hydrangea and roses.
For a lower centerpiece, the same 12 inch wooden box is filled with a lush compact arrangement. By using the same flowers as the larger arrangement a very uniform look is created.
