Day 16: Plum Kale and Succulents
Texture is a HUGE part of floral design! AND I love it!
Succulents have been a very popular trend for a few years now and they are still very popular! In this bouquet I played with texture and deep colors since I love them…..
The bridal bouquet is a loose clutch style made from dusty miller, deep purple kale, pin wheel succulents and a few white mini calla lilies for a touch of brightness. The bouquets is bound at one point and accented by a simple grey ribbon band. Picture this with a very organic dress in a garden or ever a quaint neighborhood church.
For the bridesmaids, a mini version of the bouquet without the calla lilies.
Another popular trend is corsages for the bridesmaids. Pictured below is a corsage made from white mini calla lilies and accent of black succulents.
Of course the boutonniere to match.
For a bride on a budget, a table set up is a great way to get a larger visual value and create an interesting table for quests to look at.
