Summer Sunflower Wedding

Sunflowers are such happy flowers! They were perfect for this couple who were married earlier this summer at Mariners Church in Irvine CA.

The Bride carried a bouquet made with Sunflowers, lissianthus, delphinium and statice.

The personal flowers were all made from sunflowers.

For the ceremony we hung pomanders made from sunflowers and hung sunflowers on Sheppard hooks down the aisle.

The reception was upstairs in one of the banquet rooms. The table names were written on super cute chalkboard tags and on each table there was a picture of the couple at each location. It was a great personal touch!

The cake was a “dummy” cake on the bottom and cake the couple was able to cut on the top layer.

After the ceremony we moved the flowers to the head table. It was a great way to reuse the flowers!

And of course…. a few of me working away!
