Feather and Jewel tone wedding flowers!

I love when a couple tells me to “have fun” with their flowers. The end results always end up being amazing and something I am supper excited about. This couple was one of these couples. The bride handed me a ton of feathers for me to use in the flowers to wear and the bouquets. The end result was unique creative and best of all, exactly what the couple wanted.

You may remember the boutonnieres from the post here: https://floraldesignbyjacquelineahne.wordpress.com/2012/06/22/feather-boutonnieres-for-a-july-wedding/

For the bouquets each of the bridesmaids carried something slightly different. They all had multiple color dahlias, marigolds, sweet William, hanging amaranths, berries and feathers.

The bride carried a gorgeous mix of orchids, dahlias and various accents that coordinated perfectly with the bridesmaids.

The Groom and the Mothers and Grandmother wore feathers accented with dendrobium orchids.

For the décor, since the tables were very narrow we used a mix of carnation and rose petals along with flower heads to bring in the rich colors.

There was even an amazing fountain we accented with petals and flower heads. You can check out the Venue here: http://www.tantalumrestaurant.com/

You can not forget the cupcakes! These cupcake looked SO good and I really wanted to try one! We put just a few flower heads around the area for that pop of color. The cupcakes were from: https://www.facebook.com/CaralynnsCupcakes .

This couple was great to work with and you can see their love for each other! I wish them a wonderful life together!
