This event happed over a year ago but I still thought I would share it. I have an amazing client who hosts the BEST parties! She always has a great theme and puts a lot of thought into the details!
This event was a small (only 7 people on the guest list) event that was set in the backyard. The theme was based around cooking so of course we used kitchen supplies in the arrangements. The main centerpiece was created from a mix of spring flowers in peaches, red and a touch of ivory. Lilies, spray roses, veronica, “wild one” roses, dahlia and snap dragons were mixed in a 6×6 glass cube.
At each of the place settings we placed a 3×3 glass cube filled with “wild one” roses, peach spray roses and coxcomb accented heart shaped measuring spoons.
The flowers looked perfect on the red wildflower linen. (http://www.wildflowerlinens.com/products/table-linen/668 )
I love color! Colors truly do set the tone for an event. From this color theme I see the wedding being extremely fun and full of happiness. The couple held their wedding at Tivoli Too in Laguna Beach.
The bride carried a bouquet made from a mix of sweet William, cherry brandy roses, red spray roses, wax flower, bulvardia and orchids. The white cymbidium orchids bring SO much to this bouquet…. They truly make it extra special!
The groom wore a boutonniere made mainly from red spray roses.
The Bridesmaids wore watermelon dresses so these bouquets were designed to stand out against the bright color. White hydrangea, roses and sweet William are the perfect mix!
The groomsmen wore white roses accented with orchids and foliage.
For the corsages a mix of bright blooms were placed on a black bracelet.
The Father Boutonnieres matched the corsages.
I just love how this wedding turned out…. Especially the bouquets… well everything to be honest! I know this sweet couple will live happily ever after
Blue has been HUGE this year! I love the trend…. Both my sister in law and Best friend had blue weddings…..
I loved this wedding! From the bouquets and flower girls to the aisle way…. It was all cohesive and fun to create! The couple got married in Laguna Beach at Tivloi Terrance (http://www.tivoli-too.com/TivoliTerrace/tabid/57/Default.aspx ).
The Bride carried a bouquet made form royal blue hydrangea accented with mini calla lilies, open roses, touches of white orchids and seashells.
The Groom wore a boutonniere made from a single mini calla lily accented with seeded eucalyptus and a single delphinium bloom.
The bridesmaids carried bouquets made form light blue hydrangea, open roses, orchids, delphinium and sand dollar accents.
The groomsmen wore boutonnieres made form delphinium and sand dollars.
I love the flower girl head wreathes! They were created from white orchids and delphinium blooms.
The ring bearer had the cutest blue delphinium boutonniere!
The moms and grandmothers had a wrist corsage made from white orchids on a blue beaded bracelet.
The fathers and Grandfathers had matching white orchid boutonnieres.
And the aisle way…. We did a mix of swirls and a “P” for their last name. Tivoli Terrance requires that silk petals be used instead of fresh, you cannot even tell the difference in these pictures! They looked great!
I am sure these happy newlyweds will live happily ever after!
It is AMAZING how many pictures I accumulate on my phone! I decided that I actually need to get them off my phone just in case I drop my phone in water (again, knock on wood I don’t)! I found quite a few great arrangements that you may have only seen if you follow me on Instagram (@JacquelineAhne) and some I have not shared yet….
The two arrangements below are in the same low black dish. Play on the textures of sunflowers, with or without petals.
This Bright Arrangement has tones of color, texture and depth….. Perfect for a get well!
A modern spin on an all calla lily arrangement…. I LOVE THE WIRED WOOL!!
This Unique color combo really appealed to me…. I always love the dark mini calla lilies but pairing them with the very spring colors of the naked ladies and the mini gerberas looks just amazing!
And last but not least…. a VERY unique color combo for a “funky and spunky” woman…. I have always loved zinnias and they shine in this arrangement.
